Little Prince 1st Birthday Cake. And of course, as Leamington was granted its royal title by the lady herself, I had to master the perfect Victoria Sponge. I loved making this, but ooh that fondant gave me fits! (obviously, if you'll look at the un-smoothness lol!) Bottom and top tier is decorated with fleur de lis and other molded baroque golden decoration. Royal crown and little button on this cake as per mother's request had little jewish star of David accents. The two tier cake is decorated in white and light sky blue fondant with quilting pattern and little figurine of little prince on top.
